Last Regular Race Night - Oct 7
The last regular Tuesday night race will be October 7.

The Salvation Army food bank in Vernon is in desperate need of donations. Please bring a canned or dry good food donation with you to Tuesday’s race. Thank-you!

Extra Practice - Oct 8/9
There will be extra practices on Wednesday October 8 and Thursday October 9 for anyone that wants the extra practice or to train for the Grand Nationals.

Year End Banquet - Oct 19
Sunday October 19 at 4pm, dinner 5pm sharp! at the Okanagan Landing Community Hall at Paddlewheel Park

Cost will be by donation at the door.

BMX riders and families - join us for our year end BMX banquet. We’ll be enjoying a catered dinner, seeing some awesome photos of our Vernon riders, having a few laughs and maybe even seeing a few skits.

There will be an award presented to all riders

Thanks to those who put their name on the banquet sign-in sheet at the track. If you haven’t done this, please sign in at the last BMX race (Tues, Oct 7th), or e-mail Leanne at botterill@shaw.ca We need to know how many people are planning to attend, so that we can give the caterer’s a head count for the meal. If any of the riders would like to do a skit for the banquet, please also e-mail Leanne

What to bring to the banquet?

- please bring a dessert to share
- also, if you have any BMX trophies that you would like to donate to the moto shed, please bring them to the banquet (in a box or bag)

Annual General Meeting - Nov 5
The Annual General Meeting will be Wednesday November 5 at 7pm at the Pantry Restaurant.

Classifieds
We will be starting a classified section on the website to help facilitate buying and selling of BMX bikes and equipment. Wanted items are welcome also. The classified page will go up just as soon as someone sends their pictures and text (text only is OK too) to webmaster@vernonbmx.com
